Jessica Bassett is a Law Clerk in the Corporate Practice Group at Sand & Saidel, P.C. Jessica completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Miami, graduating magna cum laude with a double major in History and Religious Studies and a minor in Classics. Jessica then completed her Master of Studies degree in Theology (Ecclesiastical History) at the University of Oxford.

Prior to attending law school, Jessica served as a legal assistant and Investment Management Analyst in Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP’s Investment Management Practice Group. During law school, Jessica was Editor-in-Chief and Founding Series Editor of The Regulatory Review. She also worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Cary Coglianese and a Law Clerk in Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP’s Investment Management Practice Group. She was a Summer Associate in the Asset Management Practice Group at Ropes & Gray LLP’s Washington, D.C. office.

Jessica joined Sand & Saidel P.C. in October 2020.

Jessica’s work focuses primarily on educational and non-profit institutions. She assists on a wide variety of projects across the Corporate Practice Group, including education law and general litigation matters.
