Nick Bednarek is an Associate at Sand & Saidel, P.C. in the Corporate Practice Group. His practice involves counseling educational institutions and nonprofit organizations regarding a wide variety of educational, corporate, and litigation issues, and representing those clients in complex commercial and general litigation matters.

He graduated with two Bachelor’s Degrees from the University of Delaware and completed his Juris Doctorate at Rutgers University School of Law. During law school, Mr. Bednarek participated in Rutger’s Appellate Hunter Moot Court, and interned for the Honorable Judge Poslusny in the District of New Jersey. Before attending college, Mr. Bednarek served in the United States Marine Corps.

Prior to joining Sand & Saidel, Mr. Bednarek gained years of experience as a commercial litigator in the Philadelphia area handling unique legal challenges in commercial, labor & employment, environmental, and energy sectors from inception through trial and post-trial. Throughout Mr. Bednarek’s career, he has successfully navigated complex litigation and significant commercial disputes, notably including a large precedential case centering on the Pennsylvania Constitution and the constitutionality of the Commonwealth’s school funding system.

In his spare time, Mr. Bednarek also is actively engaged in pro bono work and has worked with organizations such as the Homeless Advocacy Project and Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund, where he assists transient individuals who require legal assistance to navigate their unique challenges.
