Christine Reilly is an Associate of Sand and Saidel, P.C. in the Corporate Practice Group. Her primary focus is in Special Education and Employment and Labor matters.

She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree from Virginia Tech and then went on to complete her Juris Doctorate at Villanova University School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Reilly participated in the Civil Justice Clinic, served as President of the Child Advocacy Law Association, and completed an externship with the Montgomery County Public Defender as a Certified Legal Intern pursuant to Pa.B.A.R. 321 and 322.

Prior to joining Sand and Saidel, Ms. Reilly worked for more than 10 years in litigation and education law practice in the Philadelphia area. She has litigated dozens of employment and labor matters before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission (PHRC), New Jersey Division on Civil Rights (DCR), state and federal courts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).

Ms. Reilly has significant experience in charter school law. She has repeatedly litigated charter school matters, including charter applications and renewals, before school districts and the Charter School Appeal Board (CAB) in Pennsylvania. In 2017, she was one of very few attorneys to ever win a charter renewal appeal via a 5-0 unanimous appellate decision, which allowed a Pennsylvania charter school to avoid closure and receive a renewal of its charter.

She is also experienced in providing charter school clients with legal guidance and support for special education student matters and due process complaints before the Department of Education, Office of Civil Rights (OCR).
